OUR LEADERSHIP

12/11/2009

Sim-G Technologies (Sim-G) has been acquired by Secure Mission Solutions, Inc. (SMS) a private company headquartered in Northern Virginia. SMS is building an integrated security company focused on assuring mission accomplishment for federal government customers. It is bringing together premier physical and cyber security companies to provide government customers with integrated security solutions that assure mission accomplishment despite the threat environment.

Tom Sundling, CEO of Secure Mission Solutions, stated that “With the addition of Sim-G, SMS now has more extensive physical and cyber security capabilities to support its integrated security focus.” Sim-G will join WareOnEarth Communications (WCI) as operating companies within Secure Mission Solutions.

SMS strategy is to build a company with outstanding customer service in this challenging arena and success in delivering security solutions in a disciplined business environment. Like WCI, Sim-G will operate as a subsidiary of Secure Mission Solutions – maintaining its management, contracts and support infrastructure. Sim-G CEO Mark McIntosh, COO Warren Higbie, along with Vice Presidents Marianne Meins and Mike Bonheim, will continue to lead Sim-G and serve on the SMS leadership team. McIntosh remarked that “Joining SMS was the right thing for Sim-G to do to continue our record of growth and, more importantly, of providing important service for the safety of the nation.”

Riordan, Lewis and Haden Equity Partners of Los Angeles is the principal investor in SMS. RLH financed the acquisition of WareOnEarth Communications and Sim-G Technologies and remains an active partner in SMS.
